The Black Keys, St. Vincent are at Sprint Center in December

On the Black Keys’ latest full-length Turn Blue, the Akron, Ohio duo hits a lot of the same notes that first got it attention – heady beats and fuzzy, grungy guitars – but there’s also a few other elements that crop up, with shredding a la the Grateful Dead and frontman Dan Auerbach pushing his voice to a dreamy falsetto. It’s fresh new territory for a band that’s got 13 years under its belt, and you can experience it first-hand on Sunday, December 21, when the Black Keys hit the Sprint Center on its Turn Blue world tour.
