The Anniversary reunites for the Taste of Chaos Festival

Lawrence’s power-pop powerhouse and Get Up Kids contemporaries the Anniversary broke up more than a decade ago, after releasing two excellent LPs, Designing a Nervous Breakdown and Your Majesty. With band members scattering across the country and/or starting new musical projects, including Dri (from Adrienne Verhoeven) and the Josh Berwanger Band, it seemed beyond unlikely that the group would ever reunite. Yet, word arrived this week that the band would be getting back together for the Taste of Chaos Festival this July in San Bernadino, California, alongside the Get Up Kids and musical cousins Reggie and the Full Effect.

Here’s hoping the band makes a local appearance.
