Texas wants to stay in the Big 12 Minus Two.

This is all according to Texas’ Rivals site, Orangebloods.com,

which reports that the decision could be announced as early as today. The

Oklahoman confirmed

the report with an Oklahoma State source.

Texas supposedly likes the so-called “Beebe Plan” — named after Big 12 commish Dan Beebe — that would pay each university $17 million a year in TV rights fees as well as allow individual universities (read, Texas) to start their own TV networks.

But ESPN says not so fast.
