Teresa Stone pleads guilty to conspiracy to commit murder in husband’s killing

Teresa Stone has pleaded guilty to conspiring with her pastor to kill her husband, Randy Stone.
KMBC reports that Stone made the plea Monday – the day her trial was supposed to begin – and prosecutors have agreed to not seek a sentence longer than 10 years.
In November, former pastor David Love pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges in Stone’s killing. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole for more than 25 years.
In March 2010, 42-year-old Randy Stone was found shot to death inside his Farmer’s Insurance office in Independence. Stone’s family members believe that Teresa Stone was carrying on a longtime affair with Love, who was the pastor of New Hope Baptist Church where the Stones were members.
