Talking art with Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo
Mark Mothersbaugh, frontman for Devo, has an exhibition of his drawings and rugs starting this Friday at the 1819 Gallery. In addition to the showing of artwork, Mothersbaugh will do a live Q&A session via video that night. In advance of the opening, Mothersbaugh was kind enough to speak with us by phone, where we talked about the roots of his art, Devo, rugs, and a surprising local connection.
