Susan Stamberg to speak at Lawrence Public Library benefit

The Lawrence Public Library recently met its fundraising goal of $1 million in capital to “enhance four critical areas of the new library: a larger Children’s Room, the Young Adult Center, Technology, and Outdoor Spaces.” As part of a community celebration this past Sunday, they announced another fundraising event. On Tuesday, March 13, NPR special correspondent Susan Stamberg will give a talk at the Lied Center, entitled “Libraries, Cranberries and New Stories.”
