Sugar & Gold at the Record Bar, June 2

Sugar & Gold are the newest in a line of recent disco-funk groups that make me dance around my basement, barking my shins on record crates and not really giving a damn if the neighbors wonder if I’ve put a club down there.

Touring in support of their forthcoming Get Wet!, due out April 27 on Antenna Farm, the group plays the Record Bar on Wednesday, June 2. This show is highly recommended for fans of Chromeo, Prince, and anything that sounds like it’d be banging at a discotheque circa 1987.
