Sufjan Stevens stops at the Midland in April

In preparation for his forthcoming album, Carrie & Lowell, due in March, Sufjan Stevens has just announced a string of North American tour dates. The singer-songwriter stops at the Midland on Tuesday, April 21. 

It has been five years since Stevens’ last solo album, though he has been active with his side project Sisyphus. Carrie & Lowell is being touted as a return to folk for Stevens, which should please longtime fans. The album trailer is certainly promising.
