This is no doubt going to appear (or has already appeared) on all the national blogs, but I’m going to post it here anyway because I want US — you and me, kid — to listen to this together.

Here’s why: Them Crooked Vultures is a super-badass supergroup comprising John Paul Jones on bass, Josh Homme on guitar, John Paul Jones on bass, Dave Grohl on drums and, oh yeah, John Paul Jones on bass, plus Josh Homme on guitar. Did you get all that? Yeah, pretty big.

Their debut album, Them Crooked Vultures, comes out next Tuesday, but you can stream the whole thing right here ‘n now courtesy of YouTube, via the embedded video below.
