Steven Tyler stars in the new Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin video

Been a little chatter in my circles of late regarding Aerosmith. Specifically about later-era Aerosmith, and which of those songs are actually good. There was definitely a night a few months back at a bar when a large crowd of us (four men) danced, thrusted, and air-guitared the shit out of “Living on the Edge” for three consecutive plays on a Waldo jukebox. We were asked to leave, sure, but I think we got our point across.
It makes me think an Aerosmith re-awakening must be brewing in other dark corners across the globe. And if that’s the case, I am thrilled that the charge might be led by Springfield, MO’s Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, whose gorgeously poppy album Let It Sway easily made it into the top 10 of my 2010 Pazz and Jop.
Their new video for “Back in the Saddle” is a smartly edited, hilarious ode to Steven Tyler’s stage theatrics. Hella phallic imagery, air fucking, hot male butts, everything Aerosmith. LOLs all over the place. I don’t want to get too hyperbolic here, but this is maybe my favorite thing I’ve ever posted on Wayward. Enjoy:
