“I know I am odd. I know I’m eccentric,” says Socci. “I really want the audience to have a good time. I care about that so much, I want people who come to see me to be entertained. But at the same time, I want to be completely authentic to myself.” She has landed some MTV comedy spots and even a voice acting role on the beloved “Bob’s Burgers” with her biographical and vocal comedy.

“It’s kind of like a joke among my followers. You know, I go into like,  I call it my WWE voice,” says Socci, “Like a really low register yelling.” Her SoCal fry combined with many different “characters” ensures her delivery always punches. “Some of my favorite people have interesting voices, so I take it as a compliment,” says Socci.

“I haven’t been to Kansas City in years. So I’m actually thrilled to go,” says Socci. KC has produced some breakout comedy stars, like Caleb Hearon, with whom Socci looks forward to reuniting while in town. “I have like comedian friends a bunch of comedian friends from Kansas City and they are diehard Kansas City people,” says Socci, “I watched the Super Bowl with them the last couple of years.”

Socci, a Cheifs fan, gained a love for the Midwest and football after these Super Bowl parties, “I just love how much spirit they have. Also, the snacks that they made. I’m from California, so I got like, the real Midwestern Super Bowl foods,” says Socci. “They take the Superbowl foods and football food seriously, you know, that’s something I can really get behind.”

A lover of The Chiefs, Taylor Swift, and a goof crockpot dip, Socci intends to dive even further into KC culture when she visits. “I am definitely going to have barbecue as well when I go to Kansas City. I’m gonna write on my Instagram, like the places I should go,” says Socci. So be sure to lead her in the right direction, KC.

Tickets are available on The Kansas City Comedy Club’s website and more information on Blair Socci can be found on her website.
