Stabbing at Metropolitan Community College leaves dean with ‘serious injuries’

Man stabbed at MCC.

Update II (11:43 a.m. September 14): The Metropolitan Community College stabbing story keeps getting weirder. The Star reports that the suspected slasher was wearing a bullet-proof vest and attacked a dean who had told him he couldn’t bring a knife on campus.

The suspected stabber apparently crashed Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon‘s press conference:

Before the attack, the suspect had walked into a room where

the press conference was to be held “acting crazy,” one witness said. He

briefly grabbed the microphone and said “check, check, check” and “can

you hear me” before leaving and walking across the hall into a computer

lab.
