For the past five seasons, the 80 or so muscular and bruised ladies of the KCRW have charmed their way into the hearts of those looking for family-friendly, good-natured, theatrical violence. The city’s longest-running women’s tackle-football team finishes its fifth season this June. Part of the Women’s Football Alliance, they take the field at North Kansas City High School (620 East 23rd Avenue). Single game tickets are $8 for adults and free for those 14 and younger.
