Spin says Rooftop Vigilantes a band “you must hear now”

We like Lawrence’s Rooftop Vigilantes, Stereogum likes Rooftop Vigilantes, and now it appears that Spin does, as well.

In this month’s issue (the one with Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance on the cover), the four-piece’s “Seth No Jump,” from the now-in-limbo Real Pony Glue, is one of the magazine’s “Songs You Must Hear Now!” And while I don’t know if it’s intentional or not, Kansas City-born Janelle Monae is on the list right after the Vigilantes.
