Specialty Sandwich Week starts today. Here’s what to know.

The Pitch‘s Specialty Sandwich Week starts today, which means thirteen KC-area restaurants are offering one featured sandwich at half the price during lunch and dinner. Mo Brew is featuring the Bippity Boopy, a pop up from Muncheeez Deli (which we wrote about here before it closed). It’s made up of turkey, salami, pepperoni, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil/vin, mayo, and mustard. There’s also a Turkey Pesto Panini from Songbird Cafe with house-made basil, garlic, cashew, olive oil pesto; hand-carved, roasted turkey breast; soft, brie cheese; organic greens, tomato, and onion; house-made olive-oil mayo, pink himalayan salt, and ground black pepper on a choice of whole grain, sourdough, or marbles rye bread from Farm to Market Bakery. Maybe the most astonishing creation is the Mahomes from The Well. It’s a “tower of fried mac and cheese, grilled ribeye, Swiss cheese, house-made jumbo tater tot, onion rings, finished with Sriracha ketchup on a fresh ciabatta roll and topped with cheese curds.” It will soak up the tears from Sunday’s game.

There are many more. Read up on everything at thepitchkc.com/sandwichweek, and enjoy your week of sammies.
