Soe Palomino, 17, pleads guilty to role in killing of Giovanni Martinez-Carino

A teenager has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder charges in the death of 18-year-old Giovanni Martinez-Carino.

Soe Palomino, 17, entered the plea Thursday for his role in the strangling death of Martinez-Carino. His trial had been scheduled for the week of February 14. Last week, 22-year-old Admira Hamidovic also pleaded guilty to first-degree murder for her role in the killing of Martinez-Carino. But one man still wanted in the slaying is on the loose.
