Smoke This Now: Peak multisize pre-rolls are perfectly packed

Pre-rolled joints are a summer staple, ideal for your busy warm-weather schedule. Personally, I love the consistency and convenience of pre-rolls; they offer that natural flower taste without the paraphernalia and cleaning required for other smoking methods. Whether you usually pack your own joints or you’re a pre-roll pro, you’ll want to select a product that matches the high you’re seeking.

As a (very) regular consumer, I occasionally treat myself to what’s considered a premium product, and Peak embodies that completely. I was looking for something potent and worth sharing with friends, and these joints delivered on both the sativa and indica side of the spectrum.

Peak, an offshoot of Elevate Cannabis, prides itself on its “next level” weed. The brand only carries six strains, limited to those with unusual coloring, high potency, or unique cannabinoids. This year, they released their pre-rolls in three of those strains in a convenient multi-size pack, with two each of .25g, .5g, and 1g joints.

The Pitch recently had the opportunity to sample two of those strains, Sunrize Social and Black Razzberry, and was impressed with both the feel and duration of the high.

Sunrize Social

This balanced hybrid strain boasts 24.43% THC but feels stronger, delivering on Peak’s promise of potency. Sharp citrus over an aromatic spiciness draws you in, with a smooth inhale and easy exhale. This high should feel bright, vivacious, hopeful.

The multiple size options allows you to share some and save the rest, which is what I chose to do with this hybrid pack. I shared the 1g joint with a friend, feeling absolutely elated by the flower, and shenanigans ensued. Another day, I smoked the .25g version by myself before the farmer’s market, and was surprised by how strongly even the smallest size had affected me.

Black Razzberry

At 24.56% THC, the Black Razzberry indica pre-rolls are a great addition to any night, whether you’re on your own or with friends. These joints are perfectly proportioned for a smooth, consistent burn, requiring only one light. With a slight earthiness and a strong raspberry scent that lasts through the aftertaste, this body-high should feel relaxed but social and creative.

I prefer indica strains when I’m winding down for the night, so I smoked one of the .5g pre-rolls after a particularly good concert. I found myself drawn to an unfinished embroidery project and spent some time with it before I was eventually swallowed by sleep.
