Slideshow: Top of the Bottom’s Fat Tuesday Parade

A bunch of Mardi Gras die-hards woke early on Tuesday morning in Kansas City. They were part of the Fat Tuesday parade that began at 5:45 a.m. and ended at YJ’s Snack Bar. “There were a few leaders yelling and singing Mardi Gras songs into a microphone, and everyone was dancing to the beats of the drums. I left at 8:45ish, and most people were still hanging put around YJ’s,” says our photographer, Brooke Vandever.
