Sleater-Kinney adds tour dates, coming to Kansas City in April

For those of you who were heartbroken by the news that Sleater-Kinney was skipping over our fair city on its first tour in eight years, rejoice: The beloved rock band has just announced additional tour dates, and Kansas City – along with Columbia and St. Louis – is on the list.

After the group gets back from its European tour, it’ll hit the road again in the States, to the joy of anyone who follows the tribe of Carrie Brownstein, Corin Tucker and Janet Weiss. The months of waiting for the KC date – at the Uptown Theater on Sunday, April 26 – just means you’ll have more time to memorize Sleater-Kinney’s new album, No Cities to Love, out on January 20.
