Sip a glass of the Sundry’s lemon cardamom soda tomorrow for a good cause

No, until this afternoon, I did not know that tomorrow is “Citywide Lemonade Day,” a metrowide fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.

Because the expected weather forecast for tomorrow is sunny and 92 degrees, it’s a perfect day for a refreshing lemony beverage. A number of local citizens (including area children) and businesses are participating in the lemon beverage fundraiser.

Two downtown businesses — the Sundry and Kenton Brothers Systems for Security — are partnering to offer the Sundry’s fizzy, house-made lemon cardamom soda from 9 a.m. to noon in the Kenton Brothers parking lot at 1718 Baltimore. The icy-cold beverage will be available for a donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Go ahead, drink up.
