Sinkhole swallows dog, reveals abandoned limestone mine and shuts down part of Trolley Track Trail

Stay away from the Kansas City Trolley Track Trail. A sinkhole along the trial swallowed a dog and has been shut down.

A dog fell in the hole — which KMBC Channel 9 describes as 4 feet in diameter and 12 feet deep — in September. Firefighters rescued the dog, but I’m not sure how the doggy is doing.
