Cisco Adler may be known for his dating history (Paris Hilton and Mischa Barton, among others) and the insta-celebrity infamy it brought, but his 15 minutes of fame isn’t limited to only sleeping with models and leaking nude photos on the Internet. Adler’s group, the two-man band Shwayze, is laying down some of the most infectious mainstream hip-hop out there and helping shake Adler’s reputation as only a party boy by creating danceable music about, well, partying. This summer, Shwayze had a hit with the infectious Kanye West-by-way-of-Sublime-influenced “Corona and Lime,” which showcases Adler’s penchant for sweet hooks. Live, expect big beats, cool choruses and plenty of beautiful people on display.
