Outdoorsmen and Phish fans, heed this warning. A Kansas mushroom hunter (picker seems like a more appropriate term, really) was hospitalized last week when he mistakenly scarfed down the wrong kind of mushroom.

KMBC Channel 9 reports that Robert Williams, a mushroom enthusiast with 40 years of experience, confused the tasty volvariella speciosa with the deadly chlorophyllum molybdites. A few hours after enjoying his bounty, Williams was seriously ill and in the hospital.
