Shawnee teen accused of road rage, stabbing motorist
Shawnee man Jake Ruether, 18, was charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and aggravated assault today after allegedly stabbing a man multiple times in the chest during a fit of road rage.
According to initial reports, the stabbing took place at 4 p.m. Sunday near 95th Street and Quivira Road. The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to fully recover. The suspect was arrested Monday after Shawnee police officers recognized a truck fitting the description of the alleged attacker.
