Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings at the Midland

Sharon Jones and her band of fiery soul-revivalists, the Dap-Kings, are headed this way on September 21. Expect this lady to bring a funky retro brand of soul to the Midland that kicks Amy Winehouse’s skinny, wannabe ass from here ’til kingdom come. (Remember when Winehouse stole Jones’ band back in ’05?) Well, true talent like Jones’ always finds its way forward, which is why Jones will be blasting her sweet pipes at the Midland in September; but, enough of that. Jones and the Dap-Kings’ music speaks for itself.
