Shania Twain announces farewell tour, stops at the Sprint Center in August

After a successful two-year residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the queen of country pop is easing into retirement at a cool 49 years old. Shania Twain has just announced a farewell tour called Rock This Country. She stops at the Sprint Center Friday, August 7.
Twain’s last album, Up!, was released in 2002, but it’s a testament to her star power that over a decade later, she still has us reciting lines from “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” (from 1997’s Come On Over) and “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under” (from 1995’s The Woman in Me). And Twain has plans to give us some new hits: Rolling Stone reports that she is working on a new album.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 13. Details here.
