LCD Soundsystem, Lauryn Hill, Charles Bradley and many more headed to this summer’s impressive LouFest

Now this is how to make a local festival memorable. September 10-11, the two-day annual LouFest, taking place in the seriously idyllic Forest Park in St. Louis, features a handful of major headliners — enough to make the short trip east more than worthwhile. The lineup includes LCD Soundsystem, Chris Stapleton, Lauryn Hill, Charles Bradley, the Kills, Buddy Guy, Big Gigantic, Frightened Rabbit and New Orleans’ Preservation Hall Jazz Band, among many others. Even better, two-day general admission tickets are just $95, a far cry from the completely outrageous ticket prices for Lollapalooza or Bonnaroo. See more details at LouFest’s website

Also, look for our annual Summer Guide issue for many more great summer festivals within a day’s drive of KC. Summer Guide will be on stands Wednesday, May 25.
