Screenland Armour hosts a New Belgium Clips of Faith preparty and fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Kansas on Friday

If you like beer and movies but hate cancer, then you’ll want to be at the Screenland Armour Friday night (April 25). Our friends at Screenland (408 Armour Road, North Kansas City) are hosting a preparty for this year’s New Belgium Clips of Faith, which doubles as a fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Kansas City and Robert Hoops’ Man of the Year campaign.

You might remember Hoops as Cancervive KC’s creative director and this Pitch questionnaire. A $10 suggested donation gets you a pint of New Belgium’s Snapshot wheat (it’s good stuff) and a ticket to see last year’s Clips of Faith.

As part of the fundraiser, Screenland is raffling off some pretty awesome beers, including Pliny the Elder, Blind Pig, Hopslam, Bourbon County Brand Stout, Bruery Bois, 2013 Le Terroir and more. All of the proceeds from the raffle go to charity.

The event starts at 7 p.m. with the films showing at 7:30 p.m.

By the way, this year’s Clips of Faith is set for May 22 at Theis Park with proceeds going to BikeWalk KC. More info here
