Scott Wilson named editor of The Pitch

On March 18, Village Voice Media LLC sold The Pitch to Nashville,

Tennessee-based SouthComm Inc. Scott Wilson was named acting

editor. I’m happy to say that we can drop the “acting” tag.

Wilson was named editor of the paper on Thursday. A Kansas City native, he had previously served as managing editor. After five years as a freelance writer for the paper, he was hired as The Pitch‘s copy editor in 2001.
