ScionLAB is no more?

Looks like ScionLAB is calling it quits after two years. The venue and event space — which is located right behind Crossroads KC — posted on its Facebook page earlier today that it’s going to be shutting its doors.

Just wanted to send a quick shout to everyone who has taken part in the ScionLAB, whether you hosted a show, attended a show or visited the LAB as part of your VIP experience at a Xroads Concert. We’ve had an awesome 2 year run. It wouldn’t have been possible without each of you, so thanks! Stay tuned for our next venture; though it hasn’t been decided as of yet, we’ll definitely keep our friends and fans posted!

Scion’s presence was (obviously) big in the Kansas City metro last year, with the company’s Scion GarageFest in Lawrence. What do you think Scion’s next project in our town will be?
