Samuel Logan, disbarred JoCo lawyer, gets 10 years in federal prison for trying to cyber sex a teen girl

Samuel Logan was a partner at a huge law firm in Overland Park, Foulston Siefkin. But he flushed it all when he tried to sex a fictional 14-year-old girl over the Internet.

The 46-year-old has since been disbarred and he pleaded guilty in May to using the Internet to conduct sexual chats and to send images of himself performing sex acts. Of course, the recipient of those chats and images was an undercover agent.

Logan was sentenced yesterday to 10 years in federal prison.

In his guilty plea, Logan admitted that he used the Yahoo screen name “sambo5604” and engaged in online chats with someone who he thought was a 14-year-old girl named Stazie. Of course, it was an agent with the Kansas Attorney General’s Office, who was on the receiving end of webcam images from Logan (framed diplomas and certificates could be seen behind Logan).

Logan kept up the sexual chats with Stazie from June 1, 2010, to July 22, 2010. Logan flipped on the webcam 11 times. He sent 32 pornographic images to the agent posing as Stazie — two of which were of child porn.

Logan even gave the girl his cell-phone number and suggested a meet-up at Oak Park Mall on July 22, 2010.

In the sad and creepy ending, Logan showed up at the mall, where officers witnessed him searching for Stazie. Investigators took a peek inside Logan’s car and found it loaded up with sex toys and porn.
