Sam Brownback cribs idea from stimulus package he opposed

U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback has been pretty vague about about what he hopes to accomplish as the next governor of Kansas. But details are slowly emerging.
In Manhattan last week, Brownback talked about expanding broadband Internet access in rural areas. Of course, Barack Obama had the same idea. The stimulus package, which Brownback thought was stupid, included $7.2 billion to improve Internet service in underserved areas.
