Sail Away Wine launches multi-month trivia bowl tournament for dedicated know-it-alls

KC local Sail Away Wine is kicking off its 2025 Trivia Bowl on September 14. This is a long-running competition, with the same teams competing each Sunday from 1 – 3 p.m. through January 4, 2026.  

Sail Away Wine is a North Kansas City wine bar and tasting room with wines from all around the world. What makes them unique is their self-serve wine setup. Pours are by the ounce, half-glass, full glass, or bottle, so you can pour exactly what you want and when you want it. Then you can take home a bottle of what you really loved. Sail Away Wine also offers a large selection of craft beers and whiskey for those who may not want the wine but still want the experience. A full food menu is available, so you can feed your tummy while your mind is fed by trivia. 

Teams will play for weekly prizes and accumulate points with weekly attendance bonuses. Grand prizes will then be awarded at the conclusion of the Trivia Bowl on January 4. No purchases or advanced registration are required; simply show up with up to six people in your team ready to participate.
