Russell Bishop shot to death at 24th and Olive; 72 homicides in KCMO
UPDATE (10:31 a.m.): Kansas City police say 50-year-old Russell Bishop was the victim of this morning’s homicide.
Original Story (6:54 a.m.): Kansas City’s homicide count climbed to 72 overnight. A man shot at 24th and Olive has died from his wounds.
Police were called to a shooting around 12:56 a.m. and found the man wounded. He was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and died a short time later.
