Guthrie has had his troubles this year after going just 4-6 with an ERA of 3.86 through 15 starts this season. Greinke has been quite the opposite, posting a 9-3 record and 2.57 ERA over 15 starts. Greinke will face the club with which he won the AL Cy Young Award with in 2009 on Monday.

The second game of the series will feature a lefty duel when the Royals’ Danny Duffy faces Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw. Both pitchers have been effective this season with Shields pitching to an 8-3 ERA and 3.70 ERA while Haren has gone 7-4 with an ERA of 3.62 in 15 starts.
