UPDATE (August 5): Kansas City police say 35-year-old Ron James was the victim of Wednesday afternoon’s homicide at 58th and Euclid. The Star reported that five days before James was gunned down, he was married to his longtime girlfriend. Sad story.
Original Story (August 4): The killing continues. A man was found shot to death in the driver’s seat of a car at 58th and Euclid around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The unnamed victim was described as a black man in his mid-30s. Witnesses told police that a light-skinned black man was seen running from the scene right after the shooting.
