Roman LeBlanc, lawmaker who had sex with girl that he mentored, not coming to work anymore

Roman LeBlanc isn’t casting votes anymore |
Missouri state Rep. Roman LeBlanc has essentially abandoned his position, according to state Legislature records.
A March Pitch cover story — “Public Disservice” — revealed that LeBlanc had been the subject of a rape investigation. An 18-year-old woman, who met LeBlanc through a mentoring program when she was 15, claimed LeBlanc had forced himself on her. LeBlanc, 38, claimed the sex was consensual. Prosecutors declined to press charges, citing a lack of physical evidence.
A week after The Pitch story hit newsstands, LeBlanc announced that he would not seek another term, and a Jefferson City source says LeBlanc hasn’t been seen since the story ran.
