For a minute there, I pictured someone jumping around with an autographed sledgehammer of the actual piece-of-wood-with-big-hunk-of-metal variety — doing that as an expression of joy resulting from winning it at a party at Voodoo Lounge, that is — and I was struck with awe and wonder, particularly at the thought of taking a sledgehammer to “Toby Keith’s retail counter.” Then again, it would be even more fun to see some drunk idiot try to ride the bike inside the club and take out a couple of ho-bags.
Alert readers will remember when the Night Ranger met Efren at Cactus Cafe. I was just telling Jen that since Pedro’s ex-co-star‘s post-Dynamite steps have been career-suicidal, Efren should bust out a memorable role in an important indie film. Or with the music-selecting thing going, he could become the next Zach Braff (oh dear god no).
Then again, if Efren would merely prefer to be a club DJ — provided that he continues making films — he would become possibly the first celebrity actor DJ, like, ever. But if he does trance, then I personally will wreck his decks with my sledge.
