Rodney Jones pleads guilty in KU ticket scandal

The feds are quickly mopping up the University of Kansas ticket-scandal mess. Another day, another guilty plea.
Friday’s guilty plea comes to us via Rodney Jones, he of spiked hair and formerly of KU’s fundraising branch, the Williams Educational Fund. Jones, 42, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, The Kansas City Star reported. He’d been accused in the scheme of illegally selling more than $2 million of basketball and football tickets to ticket brokers and others from 2005 to 2010.
