Rockfest decision postponed by Parks Board

The Kansas City Parks Board was supposed decide the future of Rockfest, the annual butt rock festival held at Penn Valley Park. But that’s not going to happen.

The decision to approve a license to hold Rockfest in the park next year has been postponed, according to Fox 4. This is all because mixing rain and 55,000 rockers usually ends with park grounds becoming a muddy wasteland (The Pitch‘s Berry Anderson filed

a dispatch from the scene and check out these photos of the aftermath).
