Rock legends Journey sell out T-Mobile Center in their final Kansas City performance
World-renowned rock icons Journey made their final stop in Kansas City Thursday night, playing to a sold-out crowd at the T-Mobile Center. The show delivered everything you could want from a farewell tour—beautiful visuals, strong crowd engagement, and standout performances from a band that has been doing this for over five decades.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees powered through a set that spanned more than two hours. Not once did the energy dip, as the crowd sang along and waved their hands toward lead vocalist Arnel Pineda, who balanced strong vocals with constant interaction with the crowd throughout the night.
But the standout performances didn’t stop with Pineda. Todd Jensen, Jonathan Cain, Deen Castronovo, Jason Derlatka, and of course Journey founder Neal Schon played seamlessly together throughout the night—you can tell they’ve done this a time or two. One of the biggest highlights came during Castronovo’s drum solo, which was just perfect. The crowd reaction in that moment was one of the loudest of the entire show and won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
From their walkout to “Baba O’Riley” by The Who to a grand finale of “Don’t Stop Believin’,” the Kansas City crowd stayed fully engaged, celebrating one last time before saying farewell. Journey’s “Final Frontier Tour” continues through the spring and summer, wrapping up in Laredo, Texas on July 2, 2026.
