Rock and Wear

It’s been about two and a half years since producer Clay Perkins and photographer Joshua Ferdinand launched the Rock N’ Fashion Show, a local production that pairs homegrown bands with models showcasing clothing lines, jewelry, and hair and makeup artists. Since then, Perkins and Ferdinand have formally introduced KC to the likes of Nathaniel Ren3wal and Christian Micheal. This year’s show at Crosstown Station (1522 McGee,816-471-1522) features the fashions of LABEL, Method and Oblivion Clothing (among others), with sounds from acoustic hip-hop duo Scratch Track, the Paperclips, and Adam Levine sound-alike Patrick Lentz. Tickets for the three-set, hour-and-a-half show (start time: 9:30 p.m.) cost $12 at the door, which opens at 8 p.m., or at crosstownstation.com. Kick down an extra $3 to get into the afterparty upstairs with models, stylists, designers and lots of American Honey.
