Robyn R. Hamilton, KCMO homicide No. 89: Woman killed in domestic disturbance

UPDATE: The victim of this morning’s homicide has been identified as 42-year-old Robyn R. Hamilton. Police say the homicide is “domestic violence related” and the suspect is in custody.

An argument between a husband and wife preceded Kansas City, Missouri’s 89th homicide of 2010.

Kansas City police say a 42-year-old black woman was shot and killed by her husband in the 5000 block of George Road around 2:30 a.m. The suspect is described as a black man in his mid forties. He fled in an older model Dodge Intrepid.
