Jackson County prosecutors charged Robert Frazier with second-degree murder in the May 2010 slaying of Kansas City businessman Michael Tutera.

Frazer, 23, is also charged with armed criminal action and first-degree burglary. Court documents say a witness overheard Frazier saying he planned “to steal a Rolex, drugs, guns and phones” from Tutera’s home.

Frazier was arrested on July 3, 2010, on a pickup order for homicide. He denied taking part in the robbery and homicide on May, 27, 2010.

Frazier is the sixth person charged in the killing of Tutera. Previously, brothers Joseph and Michael Hendrix pleaded guilty to their roles in Tutera’s killing. The trigger man, Matthew Hendrix, received 25 years. Joseph Hendrix was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
