Rev. Meredith Sullivan gets 16 months in prison for trading sex for Section 8 housing help

Swapping Section 8 housing help for sexual favors is pretty gross. It’s even grosser when it’s a man of God doing it.

The Rev. Meredith F. Sullivan admitted in February that he’d bumped people up the waiting list for Section 8 housing and lied to HUD about tenant income and household compositions in exchange for sex (or the promise of sex) from residents at the Sycamore Grove Apartments (2920 East 17th Street), which he managed, from June 1, 2004, to July 1, 2009.
