Retired lawyer claims Crown Center security roughed him up
A retired lawyer claims that Crown Center security roughed him up at last Friday night’s Five for Fighting concert.
Jim Stanley, 57, says he went to the concert with his wife, his 14-year-old son and his 80-plus-year-old in-laws. Stanley says opening act Red Guitar was playing so loud that he had cotton stuffed in his ears. He wasn’t sure how much more his octogenarian relatives could stand.
“Two songs in, it was actually making my spine shake,” Stanley says.
Stanley claims that he was talking with his wife about whether it was worth staying when a security guard told them that they couldn’t talk where they were standing. Stanley claims that the bullying escalated from there.
