Replay Records is taking Lawrence to SXSW

The MidCoast Takeover is getting plenty of (well-deserved) attention for bringing our area’s music scene to South By Southwest, but they’re not the only ones presenting Kansas City and Lawrence acts in Austin next week. Replay Records — those fine gents who brought you the Cheap Beer compilation — will have their showcase Thursday, March 15, at the Longbranch Inn. Featuring some of the finest in local Lawrence talent (and a few ringers like Portland’s Mean Jeans), the showcase is free and runs from 11 a.m to 6:30 p.m. The full schedule is below.
