Red Friday is upon us … and so is Chiefs football and red fountain water

Kansas City’s fountains are flowing with the blood of San Diego Chargers fans (instead of the usual tears of Chiefs fans). OK, so maybe it’s just colored water, but it’s still kind of cool on this Kansas City holiday known as “Red Friday.”

All of those people wearing red around town, they’re not (all) Bloods. It’s part of the tradition. If only the Chiefs could win some games, starting with the season opener against the Chargers and the debut of the new Arrowhead on Monday Night Football.
