Butasaku, the Tokyo based duo consisting of singer-songwriter butaji and producer Yusaku Arai’s album Forms is a fusion of hip-hop, house, techno, experimental, folk, and pop—now available on vinyl for the first time. Forms is scheduled to be released July 5, 2024 via Jet Set.

Fiercely independent artist, actor, John Sturgill Simpson’s—also known as Johnny Blue Skies—highly anticipated debut release, Passage Du Desir, is an album of unreleased songs that were partly written in Paris, recorded at the historic Abbey Road Studios and in Nashville. Passage Du Desir is scheduled to be released July 12, 2024 via High Top Mountain Records.

Glass Animals’ first album in four years, I Love You So F***ing Much, is the follow up to their 2020 huge, global hit album Dreamland. Frontman Dave Bayley explained that every time we say, “I love you so fucking much,” the meaning changes. He says, “Love comes in an infinite number of forms and shapes and sizes. It is so complex, and so powerful that even witnessing the tiniest instance of it can change your life forever.” I Love You So F***ing Much is scheduled to be released July 19, 2024 via Republic Records.

Strut Records is releasing the first official remastered, reissue of Lafayette Afro-Rock Band’s elusive Funk/Afro album, Malik, originally released in 1974. Malik includes tracks sampled by Public Enemy, Jay-Z, N2Deep and more. What a way to dance your Summer away. Malik is scheduled to be released July 26, 2024 via Strut Records.
