Raytown School District to test high school students for drugs

Raytown School District high school kids better get ready to start peeing in cups. In September, the district will become the first in the Kansas City area to start randomly testing students for drugs, after the board of education voted 6-0 on Monday to approve testing, according to The Kansas City Star.
But not all students will have to agree to be tested. Kids involved with any extracurricular groups, like chess club, Model United Nations and the football team, will be subject to testing. And if students want to park their cars in the school lot, they’ll be tested for that, too.
